Li started her medical career in China, earning her M.D. Degree from China Medical University, and practiced as a physician in China for 18 years. In 2009,  Li earned a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture.  She has also studied pain research, education, and policy at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Li’s unique fusion of Eastern and Western medical expertise has granted her a holistic perspective that shapes her practice.
